Recently on one of my early morning runs in search of food(do not be fooled by my body size),i discovered a nice little nook i did not know existed in the heart of Qatar.Believe me when i tell you its a breath of fresh air away from all the sandstorms and heat in this desert.

Glampers and campers.What the difference you ask?Well hold on to your wigs coz am about to spill the tea on this one honey.When we regular folk(hustlers) go to the Masaai mara,we call it camping.When Lupita Ny'ongo went to the same spot recently,honey she was glamping.She had her entire glam team with her from make-up,wardrobe,stylist..name it.

A couple of years ago i met this soul that i have watched grow into a successful business news presenter and producer.George Ndiragu(georgie) and i met and his love for fashion impressed me.His business mind was a whole different story honey.Women loved him.They wished to have a conversation with him.I was lucky i had him as a friend.He was the talk of the town and his looks were nothing short of a plus for him.

Mile high part two:Business class

Its 1pm and am sitting by the pool taking in the sun trying not to burn whilst getting my bake on.Engulfed in denial of the fact that all this serenity is about to come to an end.All the island visits,the sight seeing,shopping,turn up,freaking housekeeping and Ben(The uber hilarious cab guy)....sigh.An hour later and am rushing up and down trying to finish up packing.Yes i am that last minute kind of person.

I finally get my travel itinerary and it feels so unreal.I mark the date and even set my alarm four days in advance.Departure is at 2pm so i gotta be at the airport early.I was not going to be missing any flight 'huntie' and especially not my first one.

What is interior designing without flowers.Flowers bring life,some colour and the concept of 'natural' in a room.Whether this flowers are on your walkway or backyard,they will still look good as long as they are well maintained.You do not need to be a professional florist to be up there with feng shui art rubbing shoulders..nooo...drive and passion is what will get you there.

Once upon a time in a land far far away,i walked into a little town with beautiful islands and a villa i wish i could call mine.This villa had my jawdropping the minute i walked in.You dont need millions to live lavish..you just need to know where to make history on a budget.What i like to call 'budget on wheels'.

Globe trotting is one thing i love about my job honey.I make it my business to really scrutinise my habitat for the days am gonna be in that country.Cleanliness is key..no one wants to walk into a room and feel like you are being featured in an episode of Niecy Nash' clean house.Once that is settled,comes the bed.

Was i always into decor and fashion like i am now..gawwd no!!! I was a tomboy full throttle..no two ways about it.Baggy jeans and tshirts with a fit meant for yokozuna were my kinda thing.Please note am a petite..not flattering to my body at all...but one thing that has never dissapointed me is the fact that the garnish (read weevils)in the 'githeri' back in high school ensured my booty stayed loyal.
