Budget on wheels:villa edition

Lets take a tour of this uber gorgeously scrumptous house.Dark colours work really well, but you don't want to have that gloom feeling when you walk in.A pop of colour never hurt nobody.

Grey furniture acessorized with silver coloured and black throw pillows. My favourite part is this grey wall here..its paint job is to die for.The feel is amazing..looks like a cardboard wall but it is concrete smoothed out then finished off with this beautiful paint. The expensive looking decor on the wall is actually wood carvings that have been sparingly painted(not completely covered by the white paint).

Then one of my fave chilling spots....the pool ofcourse.A small nicely maintained pool with a small waterfall.Yes you read that right,'a waterfall'.The old tiles that are broken and damaged during building of the house..don't throw that away...nooo.Am about to open your eyes so wide, the chinese and all my small eyed friends are gonna be jealous.

Imagine this in your head..put up a concrete wall, don't let it dry..now take all those broken tiles and push them in to cover the entire wall.Your gonna come up with something like this.Happy?Your welcome. Your troubles will be over the minute you see this waterfall and how serene this place feels.

The bathroom..lawd the bathroom!!!By now am sure i have made it clear am a sucker for bathrooms and bedrooms.Storage space is maximized in this bathroom making it look bigger than it actually is.

Mirrors add volume to a room...this huge mirror right here is everything...literally.Then right under the sink, another slab with containers to store the bathroom essentials.Right where you have the shower is a small slab for your shower gels and stuff. The shower head..i will let you judge that for yourself.

The bedroom....comfortability is key.Natural light should be maximised at all times. It gives life to a room. This bed,its size...just too inviting. The white bed linen creates a neutral shade to the room giving you ample room to bring some colour into it.Flowers work well all year or you can have your fave choice of candles in the night.I love how the closet has tiny mirrors. As i said earlier..mirrors make a room look bigger..but in this case, the way the mirrors are divided, they take attention away from the closet area and focus falls on other parts of the room.

Everything used in this villa is pocket friendly...maximise materials on hand and you will have your house looking like you spent an arm and a leg.
