After being away again for a while now I am back!!!I apologize, life happened. I promise I am not leaving your screens anytime soon.Agreed?
My adventurous self landed me in Oman this time. Decided to give the city life a break and hit the mountain honey. Headed 2000 meters above sea level, 25-carat playing on the stereo, player I was here for this....the cool breeze, camels, no green vegetation, a black donkey I wasn't ready for and a sheep that looked like a puppy.DANG Oman!!!!You got surprises, don't you?
From the airport, it seemed like ages getting to the base of the mountain let alone the top of it, well almost. The ascent to my destination started. Clad in there local dish dash, the locals went about there business as I let loose in full touristic glory at a desert cascaded by mountains. Beauty at its best. Forget fatigue and sleep...I was here for this!!!
If you thought green looked beautiful, honey you have not lived..AT ALL. Feast your eyes on this:
Y'all know I take trips seriously. So this was just what I needed after more than one year off the runway. The meanders of the road ascending up the mountain were just mesmerizing. Never have I seen such beauty.
They made sure they marked the meters as you went up just so that you are in the know. One thing to keep in mind though is to stack up on some chewing gum to pop your ears. The same feeling you get during take off and landing, is the same feeling as you ascend and descend the mountain.
The views and every meter higher above sea level was worth it..Every single one.I kid you not.
Did I mention sheep? Its wool was brazilian hair but sheep style. Never did I imagine I would be jealous of sheep wool. It was long, healthy, nicely knotted like it goes to the hairdresser, eats a balanced diet, pays its bills on time, attends fashion week...BUT the sheep itself was too thin.I mean the wool was it!! but the carrier..naaaaahh bruh!!!. First time I laid my eyes on it,I thought it was a puppy!! A well-groomed puppy in the middle of the road.
The views though..I honestly hope I do them justice and get some of you to come out here and enjoy.
Wondering what I found at the top of the mountain. Pink mountain pleasure .Stay tuned and find out all about it.
Until then, Live, Love and Laugh.
Life is never that serious.
P.S : I know I didn't get a picture of that sheep...I promise you I am gonna find it and put it up on my Youtube page.
